Senior Superlative

Just recently I received the year book of my graduating class year ,2008. This year book looks cheap and has very little color printed pages in it, but I am grateful to have this little thing.

Senior Superlatives is a section in my schools year book where students are recognized in various categories. For instance, “best smile, Best eyes, most unique…etc” . This year myself and another student where voted most random.
I don’t think of myself as a random person, but at least I have my picture and name in the year book in one of the few pages printed in color.

“Shut up the fuck up you stupid stupid”
This is my lovely girl friend Anna. We have been together for almost one year now. I’d like to think that we are an excellent match. Anna and I spend a decent amount of time with each other every day, allot of my peers would say too much. My days rarely go wrong since they are often routine. The day can be so routine that I will predict when Anna will start to get annoyed by any little thing that I do. When Anna is in this state she could be most interesting . I don’t believe that love hurts, but I do believe that you can hurt if love leaves you. Regardless of how Anna’s cruel her insults are, I will still love her and I know that she will still love me(Apparently I’m really annoying).
This is the begining of a weekly entry titled “Anna speaks” a collection of amusing quotes (Said only out of frustration) intended to harm me from my girl friend Anna.

Two days ago I had the privilege to watch a few of my friends perform in a Piano recital. There were pianist ranging from ages 5 to 42 years. The one hour recital was fairly amusing as I watched a 7 year old boy perform some demonic toned piece by Wolfgang Amadéus Mozart. The program started at 6:10 P.M. ten minutes later than what it was suppose to start.

My good friend Hae Uk Kim destroys Mozart: K265 Ah, Vous Dirai-je, Maman. It sounded like angels were possessing him with godly piano powers. Everyone stared quietly when he performed his piece. People usually whisper during these kind of programs. Not in his performance.

kandice Kim plays a sorrowful tune (Can’t remember the song). It was very beautiful and sad.

This little demon played amazingly well, he performed just as well as most of the experienced pianist at the recital. He was also a rude and cocky kid, after the recital I complimented him on his performance. His response was “Thank you, I know it was good” In an arrogant tone. Kids these days, what do their parents feed them?

The performing piano.

Refreshments prepared after the Piano Recital.

The few pianist I personally knew. Left Seraphie, Kandice Kim middle and Hae Uk Kim very right.

Weekend at Lake Tahoe
Thursday I spent the weekend with my high school graduating class at Lake Tahoe. This was my first visit at the mystical lake of Tahoe were I witnessed clear natural earth water for the first time in my life.

I stayed in South side of Tahoe as the sign in this picture reads. Apparently the whole lake freezes in the winter time. Look, there are ice skates and canoes on the same sign.

I love how clear the water is there, looks something like paradise.

Geese and seagulls feed on Dorita’s left in the sand by generous picnickers.

As I was walking along the shore I came across some roses peddles in the sand. A perfect photo opportunity.

Damn kids, throwing stones in the lake while i am trying to take a picture.

Many couples roam the shore of South Lake Tahoe. I don’t blame them, it beautiful, a nice place to propose to a lady I’d think.

There was a small dock some teenage (horny) kids were a little too touchy.

This young boy asked me to take a picture of him with a cake cover over his head.

Along side the shore are giant boulders inhabited by ground squirrels.

Bring me the horizon…

No more light in this time of day.

Hello and welcome to Killing The Mockingbird (KTMB). My name is Rufus Jones III and this is the first official post on KTMB. KTMB will be updated as freqeuntly as I can update it with new entries (usually once a day).
(Q) Whats up with Killing The Mockingbird?
(A) The name was inspired a book titled “To Kill A Mockingbird” written by Harper Lee . The main theme of this novel is notion towarded the killing of the innocence ( being the Mockingbird or Tom Robinson in the book). The title KTMB does not promote the destruction of innocence, its title only attempts to reveal blatantness of it. I blog about these things and other interesting topics and events that happen in my life.
